Curators Nathalie Hénon, Jean-François Rettig selected The Afternoon Knows What the Morning Never Suspected (2017) to be part of the 2019 festival of new cinema and contemporary art. Steele was present at the screening and did the q & a with the audience in Paris and both Steele and Tomczak attended the whole festival in Berlin in August and were present for the q & a with the audience.
